Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser storage My Blurbly uses, why they are used and how you control optional analytics.
Effective date and scope
Effective 11 August 2026.
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage used on myblurbly.com. It forms part of the Privacy Notice.
Necessary cookies
Supabase authentication cookies keep a signed-in session secure. The myblurbly_cookie_consent cookie stores Accept all or Reject optional for one year. A short-lived Founder invitation cookie securely continues an invited member's acceptance journey. Referral cookies preserve a validated referral code and a random privacy-minimised visitor identifier for up to 30 days so attribution survives signup.
Necessary cookies do not create advertising profiles. Blocking them may prevent sign-in, invitation acceptance, referral attribution or saved privacy choices from working.
Functional browser storage
My Blurbly uses local browser storage for reader preferences, idle and recent-activity state, dashboard pins, recently opened areas and resume information. This information supports features requested by the member and is not used for cross-site advertising.
Optional analytics
If you select Accept all, My Blurbly may create the blurbly_visitor cookie for up to 90 days. It contains a random identifier used to count privacy-minimised creator mini-site views and outbound clicks without storing the visitor's email address, raw IP address, referrer or raw user-agent string in those analytics events.
The optional analytics cookie and creator analytics events are not created before consent. Rejecting optional analytics leaves core My Blurbly functionality available.
Manage or withdraw consent
Use Cookie preferences in the site footer at any time. Reject optional removes the optional analytics cookie and prevents new optional analytics collection. You can also remove cookies through your browser settings.
